Wordless Wednesday: Owens Lake

A scene from the exposed lakebed of the mostly-dry Owens Lake. This is the sink of the Owens River, which cuts a valley between the eastern Sierra Nevada and the ranges that separate this valley from the even deeper and dryer Death Valley to the east.
Owens Lake is the location of our latest highway video, which follows California Highway 136 along the northern and eastern sides of the lake.
