Today we feature this handsome senior house panther with a modular system. It looks it might be a Moog modular! From Teh Autowitch via our Facebook page.
The Mystery Cat! He’s around 19 years old, deaf, and very helpful.
We wish the Mystery Cat more years to come is his long life!

We start off this week with a black cat playing the theremin.
We get a peek at some modules below, and I find myself wondering if the theremin is controlling them. She definitely sees the antenna as a toy 😸. It reminds us of our video of Merp with the photo theremin.

Syd sits atop an Ekeltron Analog Keys synthesizer. From Moustafa Elsayed via our Facebook page. Moustafa describes Syd as “my best musical buddy when I am playing”, a description that makes us smile 😻.

We at CatSynth wish all our fellow Americans a happy and safe Independence Day (4th of July). Please keep your pets safe indoors today.

A black cat playing both a Minimoog synthesizer and a Rhodes Stage electric piano. Nearby is an EMS Synthi and a rack full of Doepfer modules. From Mark L. Greco via Facebook.
There are definite musical advantages to using all four limbs.

Jet, a beautiful black cat, poses in front of a vintage Minimoog. From Keith Winstanley via Facebook.

Meet Numbers the black cat. He sits on a custom synthesizer rack made from recycled wood that houses an Arturia MiniBrute 2S, Novation keyboard, and a MicroKorg. From Sam Brubaker via our Facebook page.
A photo of my cat, Numbers. Here he is inspecting the room lighting while sitting on a synth rack I built out of recycled wood from a shipping palette.

A black cat in the studio, who seems rather unimpressed by the rather impressive 5U modular system. Said cat is also sitting some instrument from Oberheim.

We know Brian Eno loves his cat, but his cat really runs the show as we see in this interview.
Brian Eno and Angel definitely give us something to aspire to 😸🎹.
