This beautiful ambient track by BlankerFor.ms features sounds on a vintage four-track cassette player along with a Yamaha QY70 sequencer and tone generator. And of course, a cat.

Ziggy Cat Cool (ARP TRAX)
We found this gem via our friend Bill T Miller, a musician, engineer, filmmaker, photographer and kook. You can hear and download the track from his Bandcamp page.
We see several ARP instruments, including an early Odyssey and a 2600. We also see a Buchla modular system and a Eurorack modular system. Bill and Ziggy have a great setup.

ModularTrax (Aphex Twin’s Cat in studio)
This photo, which was spotted by our friend and regular reader @scrottie on Mastodon, is apparently of Aphex Twin’s cat in his studio. We were able to track down its provenance, and indeed it is from the companion tracks released to SoundCloud in conjunction with the Syrobonkers interview (with David Noyze). Here is the full playlist on YouTube, with the cat photo.
I actually quite enjoyed these little modular experiments, quite inspiring.
