Haku sits quietly as our friend Erik Ribeiro explores the Korg ARP 2600 M, the smaller-sized version of their ARP 2600 recreation. Erik also shares his thoughts on the ARP 2600 and his relationship with this iconic synth.
I like that Korg has been making sized-down versions of these classic synths. In addition to the ARP 2600 M, there are the MS-20 Mini and the MiniKorg 700sm. Just like cats, I want to take them all home with me.

Please join us in wishing our little Sam Sam a happy 17th birthday!
She is always such a sweet cat, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our lives.
17 is fairly old for a cat, so she does have “common older-cat issues”, but she is getting the best health care. We manage her thyroid with medication and keep an eye on her kidneys. With luck, she will be with us for some time to come.

Felicia enjoys some time next to a “garden keyboard” that has become part of the landscape. A beautiful garden and a beautiful cat.

Identification of the keyboard is left as an exercise to the reader.

Percy relaxes on the sofa while Joel Izquierdo plays the Buchla Music Easel. If I’m not mistaken, that is also Strymon Big Sky pedal next to the Easel.
Here is the same scene of Percy and Joel, but in green.

Major poses with a very impressive MOTM modular system.
He clearly is proud of his vast collection.

Look for more of Major in the coming days.

Grady has certainly been busy of late. Here we see him with a Dave Smith Instruments (Sequential) Evolver and a Collider delay-and-reverb pedal from Source Audio. These two instruments make a great combination. Grady seems more focused on his cleanliness.

Hamlet, aka Ham/Hammy/Hamster, poses in front of a vintage Roland Chorus Echo SRE-555 and a vintage MCI JH-110 tape recorder with rackmount control units. Hamlet and his human, Charles Whiley, certainly know how to find these old gems.
Here is another photo showing the gear more clearly, and of course, Hamlet’s handsomeness.

Another handsome pose.
