The TR-09 is a recreation of the Roland TR-909 as part of the Boutique series. It has the original controls and layout of the “909”, but in the Boutique form factor; plus some modern additions like USB.

This was Phantom. He had an ear for synthesizers. I recorded him on my DX21 one day. I think he might be the only cat that released a track on iTunes and Amazon. Lol.

CatSynth Video: Drum Machines, MicroBrute, Kaoss Pad and more
This has to be one of the sweetest things we have seen in a long time! From our friend Kamal Sabran via Facebook. We see a young man and young cat, who clearly love one another, playing a drum machine. There is also an Arturia MicroBrute, a Korg Kaoss Pad, and some cool retro devices including a reel-to-reel tape recorder and analog oscilloscope.

CatSynth Pic: Monty and Behringer Poly D

Monty definitely likes the new Behringer Poly D. Submitted by Julian Guffogg via our Facebook page.
The Behringer Poly D is a four-voice version of their Model D synthesizer that recreates the sound of an original Minimoog Model D. They can be used for 4-voice polyphony or stacked atop one another for an eight-oscillator voice. It also has a keyboard reminiscent of the original, and a sequencer and arpeggiator.
