This was taken at Point San Pablo, a rather remote and obscure spot in the Bay Area. It was challenging to find. This was taken back on a warm day in September.
If you have not done so yet, please check out my Bay Bridge article from yesterday.
Nice. Old docks and old buildings can be pretty even in their ruin sometimes
Wow — you do indeed have ruins on the mind. The effect is really cool. Nicely done.
I sometimes wonder if oneday much our crumbling infrastructure might resemble this, It’s picturesque in limited amounts 🙂
The tones really suit the subject well. Nicely done.

I love old broken down piers. We have quite a few interesting ones, both here in Baltimore and at our other home in Delaware.
I love the hipstamatic shot! Great capture, sad that the docks are decaying, but it makes a terrific picture.
like the effect..looks like a pic from the 60’s
Lovely! Wish I was there! You always transmit a peaceful feeling in your photos, too.
I really like this shot!!!!!!!!!!!
These kinds of ruins always intrigue me. I wonder how and why. It’s funny how we live and work amid what we leave behind.
You always find cool areas to photograph. Seeing ruins like this, it always makes you want to get a closer look and want to know its history.
Seems kind of magical to find a treasure like this hidden in the big city. The hipstamatic adds a bit of aged flair, making it seem this no longer exists except in an old photo album!
Yes, it’s another Hipstamatic photo. 🙂
