The Shanghai Grand Theatre is on the left. On the right is the side of the Shanghai Art Museum. This photo was taken from the courtyard of the art museum, an oasis alongside People’s Square.
I love the space that defines these buildings. Great shot.
Looks very big !
Very interesting and lovely! Wonderful lines!
Great angles and spaces. Good job.
I am an architecture freak so I LOVED this shot. The buildings themselves are fantastic, but the angles you caught really make everything pop. You composition is exquisite!
Happy WW!
Beautiful photo. Just amazing architecture.
This is a great angle for this shot! So interesting…
I’m a bit curious about the building with the wavelike shape in the front.
Nice juxtaposition of newer and more traditional architectural styles. Well done!
great shot! happy ww.
What an unusual building!
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! That is a nice building!!
That’s a great angle too 🙂

Another fascinating architecture shot. I’ve never seen a building like that with a platform that curved upwards.
This is a tease. I’d love to see this Shanghai Grand Theater in person.
Nice perspective… Hope you can also join our weekly photo meme.
Wish I could be there too. Very Nice view.
WOW! Very interesting. The tip of the wall of the building on the left , looks like it’s touching the top of the museum. 🙂
The shot could benefit from some more tension, to play on the contrast of old and new. The sweeping curve in the left foreground would be better placed if it appeared to just touch the dome in the distance, not jutting into it as it is here.
