This weekend, we have Luna basking in a triangular patch of light.
It reminded me of some of the architectural photos I have been taking, both the triangular shape and the stone surface. And it has a feeling of emptiness, though things can never be too empty with a playful cat.
Weekend Cat Blogging #220, is being hosted by Salome, at Paulchen’s Foodblog?!. This is no small feat as Astrid is away, but she is getting help from some of her human and feline friends.
The Carnival of the Cats will be up this Sunday at Mind of Mog.
And of course the Friday Ark is at the modulator.
Great photo! What is it about dark cats loving the sun patches? I have 2 gray cats, and they are both sun-patch lovers.. the orange kitties, less so. Interesting!
By the way, you and any/all of your followers are welcome to check out my kitties’ new blog at:

Have a great weekend, and grab those sunspots! 🙂
That photo is fabulous! All the cats in this house love a little spot light on them! 🙂
That is a very imaginative photo, I like the use of light and the fact that Luna is black really suits the feel of the photo, in my opinion. Of course, ANY photo with Luna in it has to be a successful one!
She looks positively divine! Grabbing a wee bit of sun before it’s all gone…
Hi Luna. I see you’re getting some sun. Becareful you don’t get burned. 🙂
Great pic – at last I can see all of Luna. Not easy to photograph black cats, is it? I had a terrible time yesterday taking a pic of one black kitten.
