We’re back on the streets of San Francisco with the iPhone Hipstamatic app. This photo was taken in the Mission District on a recent warm afternoon.
Great shot! Happy WW.
Wonder what the frame is for. 🙂
Happy WW!
Each has such a different feel welcoming, warding off and then the frame in the middle. Like it. Happy WW!
I think the gated doors are a lovely way to provide security while opening doors and add beauty to the ambiance of the city.
This is so different.
Oh gosh, I love the triple, contrasting doors. One of the great things about living in the city is all the photo ops.
hee hee….
A lot of words come to mind – many possibilities with this shot! Very interesting!
That truly is an interesting picture. I guess those sort of gates are just for slowing people down, not to officially keep them out but they are good looking gates. Sure is easier than a great big door. Good picture.
That’s a very creative picture !
I’m looking for a portal to another universe!
Great shot – love the three different doors.
We are looking for a frame like that in the middle to paint and hang on one of our walls.
Such a fun mash up of shapes!
Love the contrasting lines of door, gate and frame. Can you actually get in? 🙂
Great shot!
The frame looks much better than the ‘gates’, but probably not as secure. 🙂
I love this shot, and all of the contrasts … types of doors, lines, colors, and shapes … very cool. Happy Wednesday greetings to you and Luna! 🙂
I guess I must be in a wacky mood. I picture sci fi travelers moving between centuries by passing through the frame openings!
looks interesting..wee one like this in our house….im looking for the cat?? just kidding..appreciate ur visit..thanks..
I guess nobuddy believes in solid doors there!
interesting..like that gate on the left best.
Oh, wow! I want in. Neat shot.
I like the sepia tones.

There is always something interesting in the Mission! You don’t see a gate like the one on the right very often.
