Surplus 1980, a post-punk band that I am currently a member of, is releasing its second album, Arterial Ends Here. Our album release show is tonight (May 15) at the Hemlock in San Francisco. Those in the Bay Area are encouraged to come out for the show tonight, but if you’re not you can still follow this link to hear a few of our songs (and possibly even buy them).

Congrats on the second album, and hope the show last night was a roaring success! If this is the album cover, it’s just perfect. If you are the photographer and photo editor, quite stunning!

I’m afraid I cannot take credit for the cover photo, though I do really like it. The photo is by Carly Hoopes and the graphic design is by Moe! Staiano and Melne (both members of the band). Moe! is the one holding up the sign in the picture.
