Some ruins from the Hunters Point Shipyard in San Francisco, seen during last week’s Open Studios. It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I miss my old routines of exploring the ruins and decaying corners of the city. Hopefully this is the start of a return to this ritual.

The Shipyard looks so deserted, but maybe interesting to explore – going into the buildings. Hmmm. Perhaps it’s a good place to film a movie or something.

I miss your old photos, too, although I like the new ones too. It is always interesting to see parts of the city others probably never would notice.
