As to discovery, I think it’s a bit of both. I definitely have an eye for geometric patterns, repetition, and empty space. But sometimes these places “discover me” – this was one such place. 😺
I have New Age spirituality on my mind right now and this reminds me of the 4 of Wands tarot card. I also dig the “1010” on the building [angel number].
Anyway, I really like the contrast of the neutral building and concrete to the blue sky in this photo. It’s very eye-catching. Great photo!

The 1010 building looks like it’s still in use, but the one in front, I always wonder what used to be in such places.
