Taken at sunset time on the Summer Solstice, 2011. A view near CatSynth HQ in San Francisco. In addition to the rather hard-to-miss Coca Cola sign, we have a bit of I-80 approaching the Bay Bridge.
To me, the sign looks almost as if it was cut and pasted into the photo. I, too, love the twilight and tranquil sky, set off by the crisp, dark buildings.
It’s been so hot so last night would have been a perfect day for an iced cold Coke! Nice image to take for the longest day of the year. To answer your question from my post, it is a toad and badger from the “Wind in the Willows” story.

Love that sky. Not dark but you can tell it is late in the day. And the CC sign as contrast. I would stay at work late for that view!
Love the soft subtle hue of the sky so tranquil and soothing, I didn’t even notice the CC sign until I read replies 🙂

The longest day of the year is also my spouse’s birthday – his mom did that on purpose!
