This was taken underneath the Central Freeway (US 101) at the split with I-80 in San Francisco with the Hipstamatic app on the iPhone. I did quite a few photos during this session, a nice walk on an exceptionally warm sunny day on my way to my Open Studios show at Art Explosion.

I like the curves — and it’s definitely a view one rarely sees. The greenish tint gives it almost other-worldly feel.

It’s got great lines, doesn’t it? Nicely captured.

I spent a lot of time (about 4 miles) during my half marathon this weekend running under and next to I-676. I, like you, find the underside of overpasses really interesting!

    Interesting colour.
Reminds me of the lyrics, ‘Under the boardwalk’, except it’s “under the bridge’. 🙂

You visit lots of interesting places in the city. Glad to hear you took advantage of one of those rare hot days in SF.
