This photo, which is titled 12×25, was selected for a juried show in the 200 Yards series. All of the photos in this exhibition were taking within a 200 yard radius of the gallery, Rare Device, in the NOPA / Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco.
It was towards the very end of covering the allowed area that I came across this scene in a vacant lot (there aren’t many vacant lots in this part of the city). It just worked.
This is really awesome. Its gritty & gorgeous. I love it.
very creative photo ! No wonder that it was selected !
Very rustic. Beautiful. Love it! 🙂
Love the grit but it’s the geometric lines that really make the image. Great piece! Good luck with the show.
I agree with Robin — I love the lines. Congrats on being in the show.
Great pic! I love the various colours and shapes Happy WW and best wishes with the show 🙂

So creative! Such a cool photo — so many lines, textures and colors. Good luck!
Great shot! Looks more like graphic art than a photo! Good luck!
Neat picture!! There is a lot going on!
Plenty of lines to keep the eye moving 🙂
What a unique theme for a show, and what a stroke of luck that you were able to capture this. Congratulations on being juried into the show!
Covered parking? Lot size, does spur the imagination. Congratulations on the exhibit!
I like the shapes and colors. Nice find in the neighborhood!
Hey what fun! Good luck – hope you get loads of work out of this.
