A closed ramp near the Fremont Street exit from I-80 in San Francisco. I suspect this was once functioning as part of the Transbay terminal and Embarcadero Freeway, both of which have been demolished. I would consider this ramp a Thomasson, except that I think it might be used by construction vehicles.

This was taken with the Hipstamatic app on the iPhone during a midday walk. I still try to make time during my busy workday for such walks when I can.

Love the way that far off building pops! I imagine since the ’89 Loma Prieta there are a few leftovers?

I like the contrast in this — old/new, light/dark. You’re linky isn’t showing up for me.

Great shot – funny how there are ramps and bridges that go nowhere!

Nothing like a walk and a short break from work. This really doesn’t look like it goes nowhere. It looks as if it’s heading right into town.
