A machine at Bodie, California, a remarkably well-preserved ghost town in the eastern Sierra Nevada.

Wow, that’s just sitting out there in the middle of the desert? Do you happen to know what it is?
Not sure what it is, but I’m guessing it’s either some sort of transport or mining equipment. Bodie was a mining town.
That machine sitting in the middle of nowhere looks eerie to me! Would be nice to know the story behind it.
Thanks for the share. Happy Wednesday to you and a fabulous rest of the week too!
Cheers

Wow! very interesting shot- looks like a little shack in the background
Yep, one of many little shacks. This is an old mining town that was abandoned but remained in good enough shape to become a state park.
Very cool — makes for a stark image of past times.
Terrific place – been there many times
Ooh, ghost town out west, cool. That looks like some kind of hoe.
