Satchel is excited about his setup which includes an Elektron Analog Rytm, a Behringer 305 module, a Qu-Bit Prism, and several other modules all housed in an Arturia RackBrute case.

Intruder alert! ⚠️ Troublemaker detected in the studio! ⚠️
My boy Satchel is helping out with inspiration today 👌🎹🎵🐈

It’s been quite a while since Stevesteve last appeared on CatSynth, but we’re happy to welcome him back, along with his pal Bruce. We see in the upper left corner a Behringer Model D and CAT. To the left of those under a cover is a Moog Subsequent 37.
From our friend Jason Christian.

A fun little jam from our friend Kamal Sabran and his cats. Watch for a close-up of our non-plussed feline friend grooming right through the jam. I like the way the drum sounds and rhythms have been chopped up with loops, delays, etc. And as always, I’m curious about what the reel-to-reel is contributing.

It’s always fun to check in with our friend Kamal Sabran as he jams in his unique studio with his cats. We see a Behringer Neutron, a Roland SP-404SX, a vintage Ace Tone Rhythm Fever, an analog oscilloscope, and reel-to-reel. I’m definitely curious about what the reel-to-reel tape is contributing to the music in this jam.

Persephone (aka “Mewskers”) is in the command chair of her very impressive studio. This studio is also used by our friend Rob Robinson and his industrial/noise/EBM project Order of the Static Temple (where we found this photo).
In front of Persephone is a Nord keyboard, to her left is a Sequential synthesizer, behind that a venerable Roland SH-101. We also see offerings from Behringer, Akai, Korg, and Ensoniq!
You can see more of Persephone via her tag.

We always love checking with Kamal Sabran and his cats – and we love cats in the studio. But sometimes things don’t go as planned. Watch to the end 😹

This cat has a pretty cool setup including an Elektron Analog Four – that’s one we don’t see as often – and an Octatrack. We also see a modular system, an FMR Really Nice Compressor, and the mixers and patch bays that are essential for any synth studio. From discotheque_sauvage on Instragram.
This is not the first time we have featured discotech_sauvage, their cat, and their Elektron instruments. Check out this previous post.

It’s always extra fun to have a “CatSynth Pic” with a “Cat Synth”. Haku inspects the Behringer CAT, a remake of the infamous Octave CAT. From eriksuperlazy on Instagram.
I suppose it was only a matter of time before this photo happened. And as usual, Haku tried to chew the knobs.

We at CatSynth have both the Behringer CAT and the original. You can see our demo/tutorial of the original here.
