This was taken on January 1st, walking by the end of Mission Creek (underneath the I-280 terminal ramp) in my neighborhood in San Francisco. It was overcast, and just starting to rain.
Very watery and reflective with its lone occupant enjoying. Thanks for sharing your perspective.Happy WW
Nice photo. The presence of a single resident gives it a melancholy feel.
Beautiful picture!
Looks like film!
Wow. Perfect in B&W, it makes it timeless.
Moody but introspective and visually interesting. Great start to the new year :).
Poor little lonely duck!
Great photograph for the new year. I love the reflection and the lone duck.
Very evocative. I like the combination of the natural world and a manmade structure.
Beautiful picture. I actually thought it was snow at first–could be with all this crazy weather the northern hemisphere is seeing this year!
Beautiful!
Very cool photo, but I have to confess, I’d like to eat the duck.
That is either one very small duckie or a giant pond.
That is just gorgeous. Very cool.
Happy New Year…and Happy Wordless Wednesday
Nice capture – a very eerie satmosphere.
How moody and beautiful! Love the reflection in the water and the black and white treatment.
Great pic! I really like your b/w photos.
Poor ducky. Wonder if he’s swimming for cover from the rain.
Looks like a nice place for a swim.
Very atmospheric. The little duckling looks lonely!
Thank you for visiting my blogpost with my snowy landscape. Where you are there seem to be warmer temperatures. It was minus 15, 6 Celseius (3,8 degrees Farenheit) two days ago!
Best wishes

Great capture as usual. I love the reflection on the water. Happy WW!
