This week, we’re revisiting the series featuring our resident “hipster” doll and her adventures around the industrial areas of the city.
That’s nice.

I like the way the colors of the metal and the blues of her outfit mimic each other.

What a contrast in . . . well, everything. Nicely done.
I know that doll!
It’s a great shot! That little hipster gets around!
lol. Great pic.
She does get around – love the colors of her outfit against the metal.
Thank you for thinking of our Chica and sending her purrs. She continues to improve.
Do Want that outfit!
I used to take pictures of my dolls with my grandma’s camera, then I would get in trouble when the roll was developed. “Who tooks pictures of Barbie sitting on the porch step?” LOL
Great photo! I have a Facebook friend (female) who just fulfilled her dream of a life-sized doll that she dresses in her own clothes. At first I thought, hm, weird, but looking at the photos I started thinking that it looks like fun! She dresses her in kimonos and things she wouldn’t necessarily wear herself… she says the doll is um, anatomically correct… she arrived in lingerie, and my friend said she had to get her out of that IMMEDIATELY, those are no kind of traveling clothes! 😀
The doll did a good job of coordinating her outfit with the backdrop 😉
Love this series 🙂 Happy WW Thank you for stopping by. My entry is a sad one. It is for a friend that recently passed away. Thanks again for stopping by.
What a very creative picture !
I love how the doll is so hip and trendy, especially against the rusted metal.
Cute pic. The doll’s colours (hair/clothes) goes with the metal piece she’s sitting on. Hippies are adventureous. I hope she enjoys her trips. 🙂
That is a super picture with the doll standing out with all her wonderful color. I like that a lot. Hope all of you have a fun day.
I’m glad you’re going back to this theme a bit. I think you could do a book when you’re done photographing her adventures. Just think of the stories she could tell about each locale…
You’ve asked twice now about the special effects in my photos, and I’m sorry for taking so long to answer. (forgot, actually!) It’s a Cokin prismatic filter. I’m not sure they are made anymore, but they are great for bringing visual interest into what might otherwise be a drab photo.
We also think the hipster doll fits in very well with the background!!
For some reason, rusted metal appeals to me 😉
The little hipster sure knows all the interesting places for a good photo shoot. Where was this?

I played too. Mine are here and here.
Out of place but the doll is beautiful. Happy WW.
