The peeling pain on the building was in fact that green π
This is the showcase piece I selected for San Francisco Open Studios. It is on display at SOMArts all during October. The preview show at SOMArts is this Thursday, September 29 at SOMArts. My own Open Studios weekend is this coming weekend, October 1 and 2, at Art Explosion, 2425 17th St.
Essentially, it is a continuation of the show from two weeks ago, but under the auspices of ArtSpan, which coordinates the fall Open Studios in San Francisco. Those in the area are encouraged to attend!
Love the photo. Have great success at Open studio!
I love the reflection!
Great picture especially with the reflection in the window. I was going to say that that house need a coat of paint but guess it needs a little more than that. But it sure makes good stuff for a great picture.
I wonder if that screen is supposed to be for “security”?
I love all the juxtapositions – walls, window, reflections… Great stuff. Good luck with the show!

Β«LouisΒ» thanks you for letting him know where the cars are in Oakland. He’ll have to check that out! He is at farmers markets this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, and won’t be able to visit your show in San Francisco.
Reflection is awesome and peeling paint ~ great texture! ~ thanks, namaste, Carol (A Creative Harbor) linked with Wordless Weds ~
Good luck at the show. I love this shot. The peeling paint, the screened windows, great texture and color, love it!
Very charming picture, the wall needs a little painting, but that’s part of the charm
The peeling paint creates a neat effect along with the reflection. Very cool pic! I played this week too π
I linked up and followed you via rss feed. Hope you can visit me sometime and follow me back!
The paint has such character when it looks like that!
This is fantastic. One of my favorites of yours ever!
You have such an eye…. I love the peeling paint, and the reflection of nature through the protected windows. I can’t put my finger on it, but this too is one of my faves.
Best,
Lisann
Looks like the house has camouflaged paint. π Congratulations on another showing of your artwork.
This is a BRILLIANT picture
Perfect. Bravo — this is fabulous. Just read Robin from Israel’s comment. I would say ditto.
What a fantastic capture. The reflection is lovely.
looking great picture.
Are you made itself ?
Your green window is look like a nature.
I also going to make the painting as like your painting.
This is very cool painting.
Very talented….love it. The green is perfect.
There is a story in the reflections!
I love the texture (and the colors, which remind me of chocolate mint, YUM!) of the paint, the color of the sky in the reflection and the position of the tree reflections. You had to move around to get this one just right!
Again, wish I could see the show in person. Can you take a picture of your piece(s) again???
