A view from the top level of the contemporary art building at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). Unlike the previous WW that featured LACMA, this was taken with my DSLR camera and processed in Lightroom, rather than with the Hipstamatic.
nice angle for this architecture !
Not being familiar with Kelly’s work, «Louis» thanks you for making the introduction. «Louis» would enjoy seeing Metropolis II.
Thank you for your visit to San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.
Love this in B&W and the lines and angles really keep your eye moving (in a good way LOL). Nice.
This picture screams late 60s architecture 🙂
Yes, I love the architecture from that era!
I love LACMA, but especially the tar pitts and nearby park
I love the black and white, and I’m partial to DSLR myself, so I really like this. Some of the Hipstamatic effects are cool, too, but you just can’t beat a DSLR!
Love all the shades of gray!!!!
Very nice 🙂
Cool capture! I used to work across the street from LACMA, and there are so many neat lines and angles to behold there. 🙂
Interesting building with beams in unusual places. Is that a hole in the center of that slant or is it a light?
I believe that circle in the center of the diagonal section is a light. This was mid evening (6:30ish), so the outdoor lights probably went on.
I like seeing the skinny beam next to the big fat beam!
Great lines and tones, and that Kelly exhibition looks fantastic!
Maybe next time you can do a comparison of the B&W vs. color? It would be cool to see the differences in the two. I love the angles, btw.
Great abstract shot! Love the effect in B&W!
