It’s rare for us to do a synth post for Wordless Wednesday, but this recent photo of the analog modular at CatSynth HQ just seemed like the right choice for this week.
This is a snapshot of a system that frequently changes. Indeed, there are a few more modules that need to come into service, a couple that make be retired or moved. Such is the nature of modular systems.
Well, I did sort of steer it in a colorful direction when putting it together. The purple section in particular features prominently in live performance as well 🙂
Wow, that’s a whole lot of dials and wires! How do you keep track of them all? 🙂
Amazing that a contraption that looks like that can make music. I’ve seen one up close before, and I even got to play with some of the knobs. But I’m still amazed by what this technology can do.
