Eerie light in San Francisco at sunset this Saturday as the city was engulfed in thick smoke from the Camp Fire in Butte County.

Absolutely heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the California fires. I used to live in Redway, Red Bluff, Gridley, as well as many places in San Diego, so I’ll always be a California girl at heart. These fires are just tragic. 🙁
Great photo. I live in Hayward and the smoke has been bad. Thanks for hosting and I hope that we both see the end of the smoky days.
We are all reading about that horrible horrible fire and all of the deaths of the people that couldn’t escape in time.
Such a terrible tragedy.

Ugh. That’s horrid! We are heartbroken and full of anxiety for you and all of our friends in California who are having to deal with the destructive and deadly fires.
