This is a close-up of a concrete embankment carrying Bryant Street and the carpool lanes to the Bay Bridge in San Francisco. I wrote about this location a while ago in another article on CatSynth.
It’s almost reassuring to see nature taking over what with climate change and all. Happy WW

Really interesting and beautiful shot. It almost looks like the vines and roots are trying to constrict the concrete. Love it!
What a difference a day makes, enough to make one speechless, & groan in despair.
But grateful no one was injured.
I don’t know why, but that image makes me feel a little bit scairted!

Nice picture. Is that a little hole in the wall? It’ll make a nice little shelter for birds, if it’s big enough.
