This is the view looking north towards downtown San Francisco from Carolina Street. The area is an rather sparse area of lots and old warehouses at the base of Potrero Hill.
This photo was taken during a walk through the area back in September (when it was a lot warmer than it is now).
You get a bit of feel of the color of the City here, The skyline looks so fresh and clear.
Nice shot. It does give me a different perspective on the city… qa different view fron the conventional views of SF
Looks like a nice day in San Francisco. I kept looking and figured out what is weird – no cars out in the street.
Not the usual view ! very nice !
Hello there!Wonderful picture, my beans had visited San Francisco in October 2007, they love California!
Thanks a lot for your visit and comment in my blog, you are very kind!
Your blog is beautiful!

Nice clear skies that day. Funny, I never associate palm trees with San Francisco.
It’s cool to see the classic SF skyline in the background.
I have a pic like this of NY from Brooklyn…wonder if one day there’ll be coloured apartments there too!
Wow! simply but great! Happy WW! 🙂
Great shot!
Nice shot. Very ordinary, yet so much there. I like that it’s not a “typical” SF pic.
so empty…looks like everybody’s at work =)
I really like how you have the city in the background–sort of contrasting the real SF with the one everyone has in their mind from movies and pictures. Happy WW!
Nice shot….love the city in the background:) Happy WW and thanks for stopping by.
Nice view. I like the architecture of the buildings, and the colours look nice.
You do have a great skyline there. And clear skies… makes me drool!
