An alleyway in an older neighborhood of San Francisco. The effects are a combination of Hipstamatic lens processing and strong sunlight.

Actually, I think the soft pink adds a bit of a poetic tone to what might otherwise be a somewhat harsh landscape.
We indeed were safe from the fire, although others were not as fortunate. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families.
That is a great picture with all those wonderful reds. Is it sunset or sunrise. My guess is sunset. Anyway it is great.
