One of the newest photography pieces I made for my recent/current Open Studios show. It was taken on the shore of the Salton Sea in southern California.

The vastness of the blue water leaves me feeling very small in the world, and the body language of the subject makes me feel very alone but very relaxed. Good luck with your show. As always, I wish I could see it in person.

Actually, the Salton Sea is never that blue 😉
The colors for this composition were amplified an altered, including the blue of the water and the black of the figure in the foreground.

Looks like a nostalgic picture taken years ago. I heard Salton Sea has some good photo ops.
