One of the newest photography pieces I made for my recent/current Open Studios show. It was taken on the shore of the Salton Sea in southern California.
Ooooh so bright a blue and lovely rocky beach.
Hey, this is for you! (I am from Ohio and my first big show back in the 70s was, well, guess who!?)
I love this with a passion, hope you enjoy it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puks6UTw1EQ
Love this shot! Thanks for the linky.
love the setting..
Great picture but she looks very lonely. What a pretty blue the water is for sure. Take care.
Lovely composition. Arrgghh!
Lovely picture !
Love this shot. Looks like a peaceful and lovely day to walk on the beach!
The vastness of the blue water leaves me feeling very small in the world, and the body language of the subject makes me feel very alone but very relaxed. Good luck with your show. As always, I wish I could see it in person.
Love this picture. Is the Salton Sea always that blue? I haven’t been there in a very long time, and can’t remember…
Actually, the Salton Sea is never that blue 😉
The colors for this composition were amplified an altered, including the blue of the water and the black of the figure in the foreground.
A study in contrasts 🙂
The pics in my post were indeed from Peggy’s Cove!
That shot could have been taken where we live, makes us feel right at home.
Looks like a nostalgic picture taken years ago. I heard Salton Sea has some good photo ops.
