This photo was taken along the Mendocino Coast, on a beach of Highway 1 just north of Fort Bragg, CA.

A full article on my Highway 1 trip up the Mendocino Coast last Friday will be posted soon.

Storm drain complete with the ubiquitous graffiti!
We can’t escape it, can we?

A tribute to graffiti, I’ve always though it interesting vs plain concrete 🙂

    In wilderness…graffitti :/
An interesting structure that almost begs you to enter…

Someone decided to decorate this generic storm drain.

Is it an old WWII bunker (not a storm drain)? I ask because we have similar structures in Delaware.

I also thought of you this weekend as I was trying to figure out the I-90 interstate system in upstate NY!

What a completely different version of what most people envision as Highway 1. This looks so lonely and forlorn.
