Wordless Wednesday: Rediscovery, Long Island City, NY

Building at Queens College in the Long Island City section of New York. I had first stumbled upon and photographed this structure in November 2002, during a time when my relationship with NYC was changing and growing into what it is today. For years, I wasn’t able to find this building again…until my trip this September. It was the realization that it was near the now closed MoMA QNS and not near PS1 that led me to the rediscovery. And this time it was one of those lovely summer evenings that are unique to New York City.
Liking that nice hit of red and the circle 🙂
Love the contrast — great re-discovery. (Like the new look, too)
Very interesting. Happy WW!
Really cool! It almost looks like a geometric cutout collage, not a photo!
I like the new look of the blog, too. 🙂
Certainly interesting architecture! Glad you rediscovered it!
