Wow! You aren’t kidding when you say contrast. Are those two different buildings, or did they add on to the top of the frame-built homes?
These are separate buildings. The large modernist building is on a different street up a steep incline from the two houses in front.
I love building in foreign countries.
Greetings from Indonesia. 🙂
What a contrast ! I prefer the old buildings !
The contrast makes this photo so interesting. Great capture!
Love the contrast! And B&W was a good choice
You see that all then time in San Francisco. There is an area behind the Jewish Museum where there is three different styles. It is a trip.
Love the contrast in both shapes, styles, and B/W Very cool 🙂
Old and new meshed together!
Happy WW!

Really cool shot! I love the juxtaposition of old and new! 🙂
Thanks, everyone 🙂
I, too, love the contrast between the two architectural styles, although the, what is it called? Tudor? The traditional style in the foreground is much more attractive to me. I’ll bet the colors are wonderful, too!
I like the mix of old and new.
It’s what I hope to see more of in our city 🙂
