I was expecting to see who Taylor is; this is interesting in composition, and it leaves just enough questions to keep the photo rolling around in the viewer’s mind.
So, what exactly is Taylor? Interesting and thought-provoking photo…
Taylor in this case is Taylor Street in San Francisco, with runs northward from Market Street in one of the seedier sections of the city (where this photo was taken) up through the decidedly less seedy Nob and Russian Hill neighborhoods before descending to Fisherman’s Wharf. I have to do another full walk of the street and document it for a future article 🙂
Thanks for the explanation! I was curious, and although I don’t know San Francisco, I have seen pictures of Fisherman’s Wharf, so I can imagine the neighborhoods in the less-seedy portion of the street.
