This was along a walkway in Baker Beach in San Francisco, not far from the Golden Gate Bridge. It was actually a really sunny warm day in mid September and then as it often does the fog rolled in very quickly and dramatically. It was a little before sunset time, which made for interesting light.
Even if it is too cold to swim there, it’s warmer than the icy waters in the high elevations of Colorado! This literally makes me want to kick my shoes off and run play in the sand.

the B&W is perfect!
It was mild and rainy here today.

Was the fog horn blowing? Your photo brings me back to when I lived in the city and wandered down to Baker Beach. Before I read your caption about it being a warm day, I wondered about it. I didn’t get a sense of the cold of fog that had been there most of the day. I actually miss the fog, especially when it gets too hot. Thanks for sharing a great shot.
