A view of the construction at the site of the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco, as seen with the iPhone Hipstamatic app.
In addition to being a view of geometric lines, industrial elements and architecture, this image is also timely. It was taken right after my brief time participating in the #OccupySF demonstrations, which you can read about here.
The lines are dramatic and powerful, and the composition draws the eyes right in and keeps them circulating. But the black and white is the strongest point of this one, I think. Now off to read about your show!

I like the photo effect, it looks like a real old photo!
I love your black and white shots!
Excellent subject for B&W.
Seems sad and bleak in B&W — almost like things were being torn down instead of being built.
Great picture. I love the lines!
Seems almost post-apocalyptic with these effects Very cool photo! Happy WW I played too 🙂
Nice! I love black and white… your pics always make me wanna go back there.
Looks rather sad and depressive to me !

The Hipstamatic app does give that pic a really old feel 😉
The light and shadow are very extreme. Neat .
Nice b/w shot! Happy WW.
Just like everyone else, the black & white photo gives it an old time feeling like it was taken in the 50’s. Nice documentation of this SF landmark.
Great tones, it’s got a real Gotham feel to it.

The light and shadows are great in this shot. What a great use of Black and White.
