Weekend Cat Blogging #67

Luna blends in perfectly with her dad's decor while getting warm on a table above our main heater. The temperature this morning was 49F (10C)! That is a travesty in September, usually the hottest month of the year along the California coast. It's not helping my recovery from whatever ailment has befallen me this week, either.

Anyhow, being stuck home gives me plenty of time to host Weekend Cat Blogging #67, taking over from last week's host, chefsarahjane. Assuming I'm feeling better over the weekend and things warm up a bit, I'll be spending as much time as I can outside – but that shouldn't stop me from posting updates.

So send us your feline articles and photos; either leave a comment on this post, or send me a message. Bonus points if you can fit into the cats-with-music-and-art theme of this forum.

thanks for hosting, you have a cool site, that modern new york & high tech look combined. wow.

i once lived with another cool cat who was born in manhattan around 1979. she only tolerated me, her southern sister, but since she departed [here one day, gone the next, who knows where?] i play with her toys. don't tell.

    bye, y'all!

Please include Feline Foster Mom Ellen in this weekend's cat blogging. Ellen & I volunteer at our local SPCA in Charlottesville, Virginia. Ellen fosters for our local SPCA. She take in tiny baby kittens without a momma cat until they are at least 2 pounds and can be placed for adoption to a good home. This week Ellen has put her very newest baby foster kitten with her baby foster from 1 week ago. LC (Little Cutie) is the tiniest and the new one is Kiwi, and Kiwi is younger than LC, but a little larger. Looks like they are getting along. See them at http://scamperdude.blogspot.com/2006/09/combining-foster-kittens.html

  15. Hi!
Thanks so much for hosting WCB this week. Luna is just gorgeous. Here's our link from Farmgirl Fare:

My post also includes an update about the big cats (and 150 other exotic animals) at the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado who really need our help. I've been spreading the word any way I can (especially to cat lovers), and it's working. They've received so many donations they haven't had to close! Any mention of it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

I went ahead and posted about things here in Texas… I am missing the kitty featured on my blog this week. I will email those concerned about hosting this next weekend when I learn my schedule for work.

Thanks for hosting, you've done a marvelous job! — Heather
