Although this one has appeared on CatSynth before, it is worth reposting in these difficult times. Plus it’s adorable and hilarious.

Another photo from December 31 excursion down Langton Street in San Francisco. We featured another photo from the same outing back in January.

Loki returns, this time with a vintage Yamaha DX100 alongside the more contemporary Novation Bass Station. From thedigitalpurrgatory on Instagram.
The DX100 was the smallest of Yamaha’s DX series. It featured the same sound architecture as most of the other 4-operator FM models (before the TX81Z), but was smaller in size, with mini keys and hooks for a guitar strap. I actually had one which I used primary in “keytar mode” in the 1990s, but rarely used it after that.

Beautiful Ottilia sits atop a Casio Keyboard. Here is a close-up of her toes.

I think it’s interesting that they added these notation and name overlays to the keys.

this is Pixel. She’s building a eurorack! It currently lives in a cardboard box (makes sense since she’s a cat)
The box is a purrect container for a cat’s Eurorack. And we see quite a variety of modules here, including TipTop Audio, Pittsburgh Modular, Mutable Instruments, WMD, Bubblesound, and more…

Ámbar the cat is checking out the new KeyStep Pro from Arturia. We also see a Roland System 1, Arturia MiniBrute 2S, Moog Minitaur and more.
