Olive, Korg DW8000, Yamaha MOTIF

The lovely Olive returns, this time with a Korg DW8000 and Yamaha MOTIF. From Charles Whiley on Facebook.
I have been fascinated for a little while with DW8000. I encountered it back in the 1980s, but it was overshadowed for me by offerings from Yamaha, Roland, and Ensoniq. It came back to my attention a few years ago, and I started looking for an EX8000 (the rack version) – ultimately, I settled on its new successor, the Korg modwave.

Bucky and Modular

Bucky poses handsomely next to an impressive modular system. We see many familiar modules, including Mr. Grassi, the Rossum Panharmonium, Erica Synths, Mordax DATA, and more. Bucky is certainly going to have some fun exploring these modules.

Are we doing cats and synths, is that a thing here? Let’s go!
Meet Buckminster aka “Bucky”!
He also has a sister who I’ll introduce soon.

“Cats and synths” will always be a thing for us on every social-media platform, and we look forward to meeting Bucky’s feline sister.

Barney and empty mixer

Barney is back, and he is struggling with his new experimental empty-mixer track. From @bigbadchang on Twitter.
Barney could really use your help. His empty mixer album just isn’t coming together. Also he hasn’t been fed in three minutes. Art truly is suffering.
We hope this feature on CatSynth serves as some consolation.
