Major poses with a very impressive MOTM modular system.
He clearly is proud of his vast collection.

This cat is having fun playing atop a massive modular system. In front we modules from Rob Hordijk’s 4U offerings, including the Node Proc and Mini Matrix. There are also modules from Modcan and MOTM is this system. It must be fun to play for human and feline alike.

Our pal Milo is inspecting an MOTM 490 filter that has been modified by Keith Winstanley.
It looks like Milo is falling asleep on the job 😸

The MOTM 490 is a lowpass ladder filter designed to sound like classic synthesizers from the 1970s – or as Synthesis Technology puts it, “that synthesizer sound”. You can hear some demos on MOTM’s site.

Today, we at CatSynth have our very own “CatSynth video”. Luna looks on from her favorite beanbag chair as I attempt to operate the newly installed Eurorack modular synth.
This particular improvisation features the Metasonix R53, Make Noise Echophon, MOTM E350 Morphing Terrarium, and Circuit Abbey ADSRjr.
Our video was also posted yesterday by matrixsynth 🙂
