We were reminded that today is International Cat Day! So here are Sam Sam and Big Merp together enjoying time on the patio.
Scenes of them together have become more and more common – I wouldn’t say they were best friends, but they have learned to live together and it makes all of us at CatSynth quite happy.

Persephone (aka “Mewskers”) is in the command chair of her very impressive studio. This studio is also used by our friend Rob Robinson and his industrial/noise/EBM project Order of the Static Temple (where we found this photo).
In front of Persephone is a Nord keyboard, to her left is a Sequential synthesizer, behind that a venerable Roland SH-101. We also see offerings from Behringer, Akai, Korg, and Ensoniq!
You can see more of Persephone via her tag.
Lucy shows off a new Ableton Live project. And she doesn’t want anyone messing with it.

My cat Lucy is a little bit annoyed every time I use her music equipment. 🔊🐱

A beautiful video from Le Verger starring a tortie cat, along with abstract design and architecture – two other interests of ours here at CatSynth. Based on the tags, I am guessing the music is done with Korg instruments.
This handsome fellow has claimed territory on a keyboard in a middle of a packed studio featuring numerous keyboards and a large modular synthesizer system. From egon_allein_zu_haus on Instagram.

The beautiful Snowbelle sits next to a Spector NS-95 5-string bass. Submitted by Jason D Rodriguez via our Facebook page.
Snowbelle was adopted after Rodriguez’s cat Maximus passed away. Maximus appeared on CatSynth in this memorable photo,
It’s our 17th anniversary. Hard to believe it was 17 years ago when we first posted that picture of Luna with the Novation keyboard.
We still miss her very much. The continuation of this blog and the video channel are her legacy.
Here’s to many more years of cats, synths, and all the other stuff that we do 😻🥂
