A moody photo of a cat looking out the window while their human plays an Arturia MiniBrute. I instantly recognized the instrument as we have one at HQ.

Duarte is a composer based in Argentina who described his music as “Post-classical, neoclassical, ambient”. You can hear some of his music on his bandcamp page. Here is his latest release.
We’ve seen Tweek and Satie before on CatSynth, but I think this is the first time we have seen them together. Tweek is the tabby on the left and Satie is the gray on the right. Between them is a modified toy piano with springs and piezo microphone. The springs and the chamber of the toy piano make for some great resonance. And it is a purrfect input source for the modular system.

Shiro plays some notes on a Yamaha CS30 synthesizer (and inspects the settings). Below is a Yamaha YC20 organ.

Hürmüz returns, and he is playing a D# pulse wave on the Moog Grandmother. Submitted by Cengiz Arslanpay (@carslanpie) via our Instagram.
D sharp pulse wave is my favorite
I’m actually more partial to E flat myself.
Adorable kitten and a very cool modular sequence. From florigenix on Instagram, who gave a shout-out to the Befaco Muxlicer sequencer-and-switch module. I certainly hope the kitten found its forever home.
This adorable kitten is standing on an Erica Synths modular system in front of a full set of Behringer 2500-series modules. The latter are recreations of the legendary and rare Arp 2500 modular synthesizer.

We have another photo of Snowy getting comfortable on the large modular system. Snowy was also featured last week.

Sekhmet poses proudly with an Erica Synths SYNTRX, Roland Jupiter-X, Arturia Keystep, and more. Submitted by Robert Saint John via our Twitter account.
We at CatSynth are particularly envious of Sekhmet’s SYNTRX, a reimagining of the infamous EMS Synthi AKS, and hope to try one out someday.
