Space?Trucker also has a great desert photo. I find such images have a very inviting quality.

It’s a notable event here at CatSynth when we see catch a feline next to an Octave CAT.

For those who may not know, the Serge Modular Synthesizers are kits that can be assembled to build large custom analog synthesizers. There are classic editions, and new editions. You can visit matrixsynth for more images and info, or visit the unofficial fan site.

This weekend I decided to spend a few minutes playing with the OctaveCAT synthesizer before packing it up (part of our preparations to move). In part, I simply wanted to make sure it was working, but it is also a great instrument for improvisation.
Saw this video on matrixsynth a little back:

Basically, it's a time-lapse video of a doepfer modular being assembled. The cat shows up towards the end, and seems quite curious.
You can watch the video here. Unfortunately, it is in some sort of protected MPEG-4 format that isn't very repost/embed friendly (i.e., like YouTube videos).
Saw this cool “music video” on matrixsynth this morning:
From electrovolt:
featuring angel, spike and the nameless black micro cat. soundtrack made with the Digisound synthesizer
