CatSynth Pic: Novation SL and more

This cat poses quite confidently against a Novation SL controller keyboard. She is sitting beneath onther keyboard/synth that we are pretty sure is from Sequential.

Was fortunate enough to get to watch my parents cat over the past week 🙂 she’s a real sweetheart, but she’s quite critical of my mixes. It’s Been wonderful getting to look after so many pet pals recently 🙂 and willows really grown to love cats. She now whines anytime I don’t let her meet a new cat. She doesn’t really understand that some cats might be afraid of a 70lb dog and she just wants to be friends with them all 🙂

Cat’s can indeed by strong critics of our music.

CatSynth Pic: Polyend Tracker

Our beautiful Maine Coon friend is back again, this time with a Polyend Tracker. From lxwbehttps://www.instagram.com/p/CSUb6N5tNgg/ats via Instagram.

She’s wondering

“What’s that box”?

Inside that box is a classic 1990s style tracker with a text-based sequencer and keyboard, but also performance features found in modern sequencers. We featured it in this previous post.

Dali with MatrixBrute, Sequential OB-6, MPCX, Moog DFAM and More

Dali has quite the impressive synthesizer setup! In front we have an Arturia MatrixBrute, behind him a Sequential OB-6, Akai MPCX, the same Moog DFAM and Behringer TD-3 from the photo of his brother Rothko, a Behringer Model D, and a lot more. If you can name any of the other instruments, please feel free to share in the comments.

It’s clear who the synth lord is

It certainly is 😸

Chase Bliss Blooper and Circuit-bent Walkman

This cat is completely bilssed-out next to a Chase Bliss Blooper pedal and circuit-bent Walkman (speed controls). Between the cassette and the pedal, a lot of looping fun to be hand here.

From Antoine Marronclɘs via Facebook.

The Blooper is an intriguing little pedal, and looks quite practical for looping fun. From Chase Bliss’s website:

Within this little blue rectangle is an intricate machine to explore, unravel, and make your own, with infinite opportunities and outcomes…there is loop saving, eight layers of undo and redo, and external syncing. On the creative end, there are two channels of modifiers, a lo-fi Stability control, and three looping modes. blooper’s heart is Additive mode, which allows you to record sound modifiers directly into the loop like any other overdub.

Valentino and Electron Octatrak

Valentino has found a comfy spot between an Elektron Octatrak (version 1) and a mixer. And it doesn’t look like he wants to move any time soon.

From Patricia Wolf @patwolfmusic via Twitter.

I guess I’ll have to work around him:)

Valentino looks even more like Big Merp than in his earlier photos.
