Winchester (the cat) clearly loves being in the studio with his human and all their gear. We two Moog Mother-32s and another Moog synth to the right; a Sequential Pro One, the unmistakable blue of the Strymon Big Sky, and a device from Alesis in the lower right.

My little buddy Winchester loves being in my studio!
We love seeing cats and their humans happy together like this.
Our friends over at Cats on Synthesizers in Space recently posted this gem featuring Data and a variety of cats and synthesizers.
“There may be a correlation between cats and synthesizers. The need for more research is clearly indicated…”
There is a Korg Volca and a Teenage Engineering OP-1. I’m pretty sure the keyboard at the bottom is from Sequential.
Dali has quite the impressive synthesizer setup! In front we have an Arturia MatrixBrute, behind him a Sequential OB-6, Akai MPCX, the same Moog DFAM and Behringer TD-3 from the photo of his brother Rothko, a Behringer Model D, and a lot more. If you can name any of the other instruments, please feel free to share in the comments.

It’s clear who the synth lord is
It certainly is 😸
Rothko shoots a judgmental look in a studio that includes a Sequential OB6, Behringer RD-6 (Blue), Behringer Model D, and more. Submitted by Dirk Vanstraelen via our Facebook page.
Rothko thinks my snare sounds like crap
We at CatSynth will reserve judgment on the snare sound 😸
The adorable Elgie returns, this time with a Crumar Orchestrator and Sequential Six-Trak. Submitted by Eston Lathrop via our Facebook page.
The Crumar Orchestrator was released in 1977 and provides an orchestra-in-a-box with Brass, Piano, Clavichord, Cello, and Violin sounds, as well as a Bass sound. They can be combined and each has its own level control. It is particularly good for the Brass and String sounds which are reminiscent of the ARP Solina (we at CatSynth have used the Arturia Solina V on a few recordings).
The Sequential Six-Trak was released in 1984. As a synthesizer, it was a smaller cousin to the Prophet series, but it did include many of the Prophets’ features like cross-modulation. There was also an onboard sequencer six-track sequencer (hence the name) and full MIDI support, including controllers for the various parameters.
Cat with an epic wall of modular. Submitted by Steve Taormina of ROBOTSPEAk, our local synthesizer store in San Francisco. You can see many posts previous posts here, as well as several videos on CatSynth TV.
Please check out ROBOTSPEAK’s online shop and consider buying something. We at CatSynth will be doing so.
A beautiful orange cat sits atop a Roland Juno-106 synthesizer. Below we see a Sequential Prophet 12 (keyboard edition). From guidecore on Instagram.
Hola Buenos Días~ let’s meet the cat synthesizer.. 🐱🎹
The Juno-106 and Prophet 12 are both fine instruments. We at CatSynth have a Prophet 12 – it’s a favorite. As for the Juno, we are enjoying our virtual edition from Arturia. You can see our recent tutorial and review in this video.
This handsome fellow is orion.s.cat on Instagram, and poses with what I believe to be a Sequential Prophet 12, a personal favorite of mine.
This new room is awsome, meow, I really love it!! There, I found a very strange toy… I don’t know what it is but his black and white buttons make sound when we push them, amazing 🙀😻!
My daddy call it a “synth” and it makes “music”! So I like to play music with my daddy! And you my furriends? Do you like to listen and/or play music with your humans?
Have a good night everyone!
